snowboarding & Ski Wear
Our snowboarding and ski wear clothing range is built for performance from the first chairlift to the last run of the day. Designed around a three-layer system — base layer, mid-layer, and outer shell — each garment works together to keep you warm, dry, and moving freely in even the harshest mountain conditions.

FAQ
Anniou ski clothing can be used for everyday winter use, from insulated jackets, fleece layers, trousers and accessories such as hats, goggles, balaclavas, and gloves. Their weatherproof design and thermal properties make them practical choices for cold-weather commutes, dog walks, and general outdoor activities.
At minimum, you need a waterproof ski jacket, ski trousers, a thermal base layer, ski gloves, a hat or balaclava, goggles, and warm socks. These items work together to keep you dry, insulated, and protected across changing mountain conditions.
- Ski jacket: Insulation and weather protection in one
- Ski trousers or salopettes: Waterproof comfort with flexible movement
- Base layer: Thermal warmth and moisture management next to the skin
- Gloves and hat: Essential for extremity warmth in cold, windy conditions
- Goggles: Visibility and eye protection against glare and wind
For skiing, look for a waterproof rating of at least 10,000mm, with 20,000mm or above recommended for frequent skiers or those skiing in heavy snowfall conditions. The waterproof rating indicates how much water pressure a fabric can resist before it leaks.
- 10,000–15,000mm: Suitable for dry snow and occasional use
- 20,000mm+: Best for wet snow, all-day skiing, or harsh mountain conditions
- Always check the breathability rating alongside waterproofing — a minimum of 10,000g/m²/24hrs is recommended for active skiers
Ski wear should fit comfortably over a mid-layer without feeling tight, with enough room to move freely when crouching or reaching. A well-fitted ski jacket should sit at the hip, with cuffs that overlap your gloves to prevent gaps.
Quick fit checks:
- Raise both arms above your head — the hem should not ride up significantly
- Squat down — the jacket and trousers should not pull or restrict movement
- Check that the collar sits comfortably at the neck without chafing
